Prolific blogging friend Cory Heidelberger writes about a NY Times article that reports an anticipated 50% reduction of health insurance premiums for New Yorkers buying their own health insurance plan next year under ObamaCare.
Well, I can’t speak for New Yorkers, but my personal health insurance premiums have never, ever, gone down, and this year have I’ve been hit with the largest increase ever. My premiums have gone up, way up. Obviously, I live in South Dakota, not New York. The market is different here. But by the same token, what happens in New York doesn’t reflect upon what happens in the rest of the country. How many other places and how many other individuals will see their premiums increase under ObamaCare?
